Outdoor Furniture Warranty
Marco Polo Furniture’s Outdoor Warranty is a limited non-transferrable warranty which is valid from the original date of purchase to the original purchaser with proof of purchase (original itemized sales receipt with date of purchase).
Cushions
Marco Polo Furnishings offers the original purchaser a one-year limited warranty on manufacturing defects on the outdoor cushions. The fabric on the cushions has a two-year warranty against abnormal discoloration and/or fading due to defects in raw materials. Fabric rips, tears or pilling in upholstered or woven products due to normal wear and tear are not covered. Fading and/or discoloration of fabrics resulting from exposure to the elements, chemical spills, fluids, stains, oil, water damage or any other cause are not covered. Mildew will grow on dirt, dust, pollen, and other organic matters on fabric covers; this is not covered by warranty. Softening of cushions or foams is part of normal wear and tear process and is not considered as defective. Shrinkage of covers due to improper cleaning procedures will void the warranty. Customer’s Own Material (COM) fabrics are not covered under this warranty.
Resin Wicker
Marco Polo Furnishings provides the original purchaser a three-year warranty on resin wicker against fading or cracking. This warranty applies to installation following proper care, maintenance, and storage procedures. Warranty does not cover minor variations in color, texture or finishes and surface imperfections that result from the casting and/or finishing process.
Resin Rope
Marco Polo Furnishings provides a three-year warranty on woven rope resin against abnormal discoloration and/or fading due to defects in raw materials. Fading and/or discoloration resulting from exposure to the elements, chemical spills, fluids, stains, oil, water damage or any other causes are not covered. Unravelling due to normal wear and tear is not covered.
Resinwood
Marco Polo Furnishings provides a three-year warranty on our resinwood slats against defects in materials or workmanship. Any alterations to the wood render the warranty void.
Our resinwood products are virtually maintenance free since they have exceptional resistance to fading, moisture, insects, splintering, and other common outcomes from environmental stress that one observes with treated lumber or wood fibre composite products. Resinwood is made with polystyrene and due to its unique nature, severe and direct sunlight may cause sun damage. Removing clear glasses and silverware from direct contact on the surface is recommended. Burns and melting due to sun damage are not covered under warranty.
Frame
Marco Polo outdoor furniture frames have a five-year limited warranty against aluminum frame structural failure. Scratches and chips resulting from normal wear and tear are not covered.
Umbrellas and bases
Umbrella Frame, Finish, and Bases have a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase during normal usage against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Rust is a natural part of the aging process of all steel or iron-based materials and is not covered under the warranty. Umbrella damage caused from wind conditions is not covered. It is recommended that umbrellas be closed, removed from their base, and stored or laid horizontally. To ensure stability of your umbrella, please observe proper placement, and use a sufficiently weighted base.
Umbrella Canopy (Fabric)
Marco Polo Furnishings provides a one-year limited warranty on the canopy fabric against defects relating to workmanship and materials. Fading and/or discoloration resulting from exposure to the elements, chemical spills, fluids, stains, oil, water damage or any other causes are not covered. Umbrella damage caused from wind conditions is not covered. It is recommended that umbrellas be closed, removed from their base, and stored or laid horizontally. To ensure stability of your umbrella, please observe proper placement, and use a sufficiently weighted base.
